Advantages:
HostRocket has some features that you don't find on other low cost hosts, mainly unlimited subdomains and even Telnet / SSH access. They include a shared SSL server with each account, so you can set up a secure shopping cart / order form on your website. HostRocket provides plenty of bandwidth, disk storage space, and all the other standard features a good low cost hosting account should have.
Disadvantages:
HostRocket is a little more expensive than other low cost hosts. You can get just as much bandwidth and disk space from hosting providers that cost less and that are just as reliable, like iPowerWeb and LunarPages. The $29.95 setup fee inflates the price that much more. Phone support is limited from 8AM - 12AM EST, Monday - Friday, and it is not toll-free. And finally, they offer only a 14-day Guarantee. HostRocket is a pretty reliable host with lots of good features, and they've tested well for both server reliability and customer support - but it seems with them, you have to pay a little more for that level of service.
