From start to finish, we have found InMotion to be a solid web hosting company, as their combination of service, support and speed can match any other host at this price. We found that their service first attitude is really true, as they not only go out of their way to help the customer, but they also take a pro-active response to solve issues with each account before they might become a problem.

InMotion hosting is co-locating their servers with AT&T Global and backed up Equinix. Both data centers are fully redundant with direct connections to major Internet backbones. Up to this time with InMotion Hosting, we have yet to see any downtime and/or problems with email, which is very impressive.

* InMotion's Power and Pro accounts have 5 and 15 subdomains.

Advantages:

InMotion Hosting rates very high when it comes to speed and connectivity. They are right on the backbone, connection strings are quick, FTP speeds are fast, and overall page response is very good. In the area of customer service, their phone support representatives are knowledgeable, polite and patient. InMotion's 24/7 email & chat support provides very fast response times, and they now have toll-free phone support.

Disadvantages:

While InMotion makes a very good all-around host for the average webmaster, they're cheapest plan is not really targeted towards e-Commerce. You would have to order a Power or Pro account to get SSL for your domain, and you'd have to find and install your own shopping cart software.
