Uplinkearth is another great find among Windows hosting companies. They have a nice range of pricing so that you can pay for only the features you need. And if you ever need to add an optional feature or upgrade to a bigger account, you can do so quite smoothly with no changes to your service. Optional features include Cold Fusion MX, Microsoft SQL Server, ASP .NET and more.

If you just need to use ASP & Microsoft Access together on your website, then Uplinkearth has probably the lowest-priced Windows 2000 hosting account around. Their "Micro Plan" includes ASP & Access, along with 2 GB of data transfer and 100 MB of disk space for $4.95 / month. You don't get a lot of extras with the Micro Plan, but if you're running just a basic ASP-driven website, then its a great bargain. For Windows web hosting with more standard features, the Primary Plan is the best all-around deal.

Advantages:

Uplinkearth offers very low pricing when compared to the average Windows hosting account. They have good server uptime and customer support. Cold Fusion 5 is included on all accounts. Toll-free support is available, although it is only during standard business hours for six days a week.

Disadvantages:

You have to pay more for Cold Fusion MX, and you can get Microsoft SQL Servers for less through other Windows hosting providers like Easy CGI. Also, 3 GB of data transfer is ok for most sites, but once again you can get more bandwidth at a fair price through Easy CGI. As we pointed out, the Micro Plan & Primary Plan are great deals if you don't need all the standard hosting extras, like CGI / Perl support, traffic statistics and a full blown account control panel. Otherwise, Uplinkearth tests out well for reliability and support.
